Lizzie had an Easter basket, filled with playdough accessories and plastic eggs, waiting for her down stairs. Which she promptly started dumping everywhere just to see what was inside. I think Ben was more excited about her toys than she was, and after the morning playdough/art lesson we headed off to church. I love our church and this morning was absolutely no exception! It was nice not to have it in the movie theater (it was at the College of the Canyons Preforming Arts Center) and to be able to have some time to chat and connect with some other people we've never seen before. Instead of rushing to pack everything up in time for the first movie to start. The full band was back this week (which was awesome) and you could even hear people around you singing. It was great (normally in the theater the walls deaden so much of the sound).
After the service we had lunch at Ben's friend, Bill's (well... really his mom, Margaret's house). It was a really nice time and it was really great not having to figure out what I was going to make for Easter lunch. ;) Lizzie didn't eat much, as usual, but she did have her very first jelly bean and absolutely loved it. We hadn't seen Bill and his mom in over 5 years (at least I haven't), so it was really fun for them to see Lizzie for the first time. It ended up being a pretty great day.

Our little escaped convict... somehow her kids ministry id ended up on her ankle instead of her wrist. Oh, well Lizzie doesn't seem to mind. She's content eating her donut.
