Happy Easter!

On Easter morning Lizzie went straight for Abby's basket and totally jacked her Peekaboo Farm book... she wants to read it every time she takes a nap now, even though she's way beyond little books like that. I think she likes it because she wants to pretend she's every animal. After going through the baskets and finding that the plastic eggs were filled with jelly beans and m&m's... Lizzie's two favorite things, we went to our church. Man, I wish we had an 11am service every weekend. We would always be there on time then. ;) It's amazing how much just a half an hour makes. The service was packed (I can't imagine what the 9:30 service looked like) and for the little kids they had bounce houses and a little petting zoo, which Lizzie loved. After church we went home and started getting things ready for later that day. We invited a bunch of friends over from Ben's work. I call them the lunch gang, because they're always the ones that eat lunch together in the kitchen instead going out to eat. There was around 15 of us, once you added all the little kids. I still can't believe Ben made me ask our Jewish, vegetarian friends if we could serve ham. We could have done a million other things, but he really wanted his ham. At least they're were really cool about it and didn't mind. Anyways, it was a really fun time just hanging out, playing rockband and enjoying a meal together.

Petting the goats at church... she was more fascinated with watching the ducks play in their water than anything else.
