Easter on the Farm...

We went to the farm on this last Saturday, they had a big Easter weekend theme going on, so we thought it would be fun to get outside if we were going to go see the Easter Bunny. I was actually really surprised when we pulled into the driveway and saw so many cars, but luckily once you get inside it never really feels that crowded. They had an easter egg hunt, not the traditional look for little eggs hidden everywhere hunt, but more like a scavenger hunt. They had big, huge laminated easter egg posters hidden through out the animal center for us to find. Lizzie loved it... of course we never finished the complete list, someone got a little distracted. ;) Aside from the egg hunt, Lizzie dyed an easter egg, ate some candy and met the easter bunny. She ran right up to him and gave him a huge hug as soon as she saw him, that little girl is not afraid of anybody! Ben thought he was a little creepy and couldn't stop thinking about how this poor teenager was stuck in this ugly bunny suit when it was over 80 degrees outside. It was hot outside, we were all wishing we would have worn shorts by the end of the day, but we all manged to survive the day with minimal breakdowns and enjoy the beautiful California weather, plus we brought home a lot of fresh fruits and veggies too.

Abby's awake, but it won't last for long... she was loving the bumpy wagon ride.

We can't go to the farm without feeding every, single animal!

Mm, fresh picked strawberries and look who's still asleep! ;)
