I can't believe my little one is 6 months old already! Abby did great at her well-baby check-up and passed with flying colors. She's still thinks she a couple months older than she really is and once again her pediatrician was amazed at what she could already do. As you can see from the pictures below Abby is sitting independently now and has been loving the view from her new found perspective. She has 2 bottom teeth already too, and with those new teeth the start of finger foods. Yay, real food not out of a jar! That girl will eat anything. To be honest I'm not quite use to it... Lizzie is the pickiest eater I know (next to her dad that is) and Abby, well it doesn't seem to matter to her, just as long as it's edible. Well, even if it's not she'll still try and eat it. She's such an oral gratification girl with all the thumb sucking, chewing on every toy and blanket, and putting whatever she can find straight into her mouth. We've been trying to teach Lizzie to keep her toys out of Abby's reach otherwise she might not ever see them again. Abby's not crawling yet, but she does get up on all fours and rocks back and forth, quite violently sometimes, with her little behind way up in the air. So cute. My world will be completely and totally crazy once she starts crawling , so I'm enjoying every day she's stationary! ;)
Here's Abby's stats from her latest appointment...
Height - 26 3/4in, weight - 20.10 oz, and her head measured in at 43 1/4 cm.
