Ah, holiday weekends... Ben's home an extra day, it just happened to be Lizzie's birthday weekend, and it was cloudy and cold (well cold for down here anyways)! We open some presents over the weekend because Ben wanted to play with her new toys, so Lizzie got to celebrate a little early. She got all kinds of fun stuff, but I couldn't snap enough pictures to show it all before the camera shut down on me... sorry mom. (My camera is completely lame lately and the battery will not hold a charge anymore. We haven't replaced the one that was broken from when we went camping so long ago, so we're still using the really quirky one we had before Lizzie was born). Anyways it was a really nice weekend... more to come of Lizzie's actual birthday and her party soon. I still have to process all those pictures.

Oh, did you notice what Lizzie's wearing the in the pictures above? That's right... big girl underwear. Our little girl is potty trained now and only wears a pull-up at night. She's doing really well. We've only had a couple accidents here and there, but that's to be expected. We've even gone on multiple trips to different places in just the undies and only once did we not make it. Yay, no more diapers!
