I'll be one of the first ones to admit that playing video games is a lot of fun (yes, I'm a girl who likes to play video games) especially when other people are involved and it's not some form of an isolation box, but the guys over at Harmonix are just plain evil. They have managed to create a game so incredibly addicting it's sick. No really, it's on in my house almost 24 hours a day. When Ben and I should be sleeping at 2am in the morning (so we can get up to feed the new baby) we're playing... when Lizzie takes her nap every afternoon we're playing... every time Heidi's over we're playing. You'd think we'd all be sick of it by now, but nope, and now that Ted and Jean are down here visiting it's even more fun (well I don't know how much fun it is for Jean to listen to our awful band all afternoon long ;) ) since we can have a band of 4. Anyways, for anyone who still doesn't have it just be forewarned - you will have no life after opening that big, huge box. It truly is that evil.
