A Day at the Beach...

Oh, how I love living in California! This last Saturday we (yea... now Heidi too) all went to Santa Monica, hung out at the lovely beach and enjoyed the warm sunshine. Sorry... I'm not really trying to rub in it in, but it was a really nice day. Ben and I have not had a chance to go anywhere near the beach since we moved down here so, when Heidi said she had the day off we had no choice but to take advantage of the situation. Santa Monica was a lot of fun, but I think Ben wants to find a beach that will not be so crowded in summer and one that has bigger waves for his board. He was a little heartbroken that the ocean was so calm. I liked it though. Nice and peaceful and barely any wind... pretty perfect if you ask me.
