It was her very first trip to the zoo. I didn't realize how cool the San Francisco Zoo is (it's not everyday that the zoo sits steps away from the pacific ocean). Lizzie thought the zoo was very cool. Such the little animal enthusiast already. Her favorite exhibit was the prairie dogs (of course). What is with our family and rodents? We didn't realize Lizzie could talk to the animals either. She would squeak and they would squeak right back. It was so cute to watch. We would have it all on tape, but our video camera died at the exhibit right before this one. It sucks!
It was definitely an action packed day, but Lizzie didn't mind. She has the never ending need for constant entertainment anyways. When she did slow down we got to take a "break" at the huge playground they have there.
The zoo was somewhat under renovations (so no elephants), but they still have the 1929 original buildings and statutes. Very awesome and retro. Ben could not pass up the opportunity for a photo shoot with them. We'll definitely have to frequent the zoo now.
